Equifax has a new feature allowing you to access your free Equifax Credit Score and Equifax Credit Report on-line. Credit card information is not required.
To get your free Equifax Credit Score & Report, visit www.equifax.ca. Once on the homepage, scroll down until you see a heading titled — Stay on top of your credit with Equifax. Below this heading, you will see three options:
Select the first option — Get my free Equifax score & report on-line. You will then be prompted to enter some personal information and then you will be asked to enter an email address and to create a password. Once complete, you will now have access to your current Equifax credit score and report.
If you see your credit score is lower than expected, review your credit report information for possible errors. If you find an error, you should be able to report it to Equifax for further investigation by using the Dispute something on my Equifax report feature. After the error is corrected and your credit report is updated, you should see an improvement.
If there are no errors but your score is low due to missed payments or some other reasons, please do not hesitate to contact our office to discuss a plan for dealing with your debt and debt relief options. We offer a free consultation and there is no obligation or judgment; just some free advice and a plan of action for dealing with your debt.
